About
Maria Sperl, M.S. CCC-SLP
Hello!
I’m Maria, the owner of Community Speech & Language Services, LLC.

I am so lucky to be a speech-language pathologist. It is the perfect profession for me - I thrive when I can be creative. Plus, I get to work with the infinitely unique and beautiful human voice.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Design from Concordia University-St. Paul, where I also played volleyball and studied vocal performance. Though I will always be passionate about art, I recognized that I needed a career that truly utilized by natural aptitudes. I took a Phonetics course from the University of Minnesota and never looked back. I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts with a Master's of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014.
I have ten years of experience working with people of all ages in hospitals, clinics, schools, and virtually. My clients have fun, feel heard, and reach their goals. I am motivated to serve communities that don't currently have access to effective, compassionate speech-language therapy. I help clients communicate authentically and as their genuine selves.
I am licensed in the state of Minnesota and I am nationally certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
